Bryan Gault, president of Wind Gap Chevrolet Buick, has been selected to receive a 2013 Automobile Dealer Education Award.
This prestigious international award recognizes a select number of dealers throughout the world for their contributions to education. This is the second year in a row that a member of the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealer’s Association has received this highly coveted honor. Fred Rentschler, co-owner of Rentschler Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and Rentschler Chevrolet, both in Slatington, was honored with the prestigious award in 2012.
The awards are given by Northwood University, Midland, Michigan. This year Northwood will honor 10 automobile dealers from across the United States, Germany and The Netherlands with its annual Dealer Education Awards. The dealers are recognized for their individual contributions and efforts to improve education at all levels.
Since 1972, Northwood has recognized individuals in the automotive marketing field who have made noteworthy contributions to public or private education inside or outside of the industry. The ceremony is held in conjunction with the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) convention to be held this year in New Orleans. The awards will be presented at a special breakfast on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at the Westin New Orleans, Canal Place.
“Northwood has been recognizing outstanding dealers for 43 yearsand there has never been a time when their contributions have meant more to their communities than they do today,” said Tom Kwiatek, executive director of the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association. “It says a great deal about our region that this is the second time in two years a dealer from the Lehigh Valley has been recognized out of all the dealerships in the United States as well as Germany and the Netherlands. Both Bryan Gault and Fred Rentschler have made outstanding sacrifices of time and resources to education. We are extremely proud of our Dealer Education Award winners and commend them for their leadership.”
